Геній та веселка

Хто знає, що таке дисперсія? Ніби колись у школі — сидиш на контрольній і ні сном ні духом — тільки озираєшся та шипиш по сторонах: "Агов, народе, хто знає, що таке дисперсія?" 

Я лише пам'ятаю щось на кшталт "заломлення" і "розсіювання". Отже, для мене це досить таємниче, проте приємне на слух слово. Ммм... Дисперсія світла. Дисперсія звуку. Авжеж, буває по-різному.

А як щодо дисперсії життя? Коли, заломив руки, народжуєш розсіяного генія та між переймами нашіптуєш: "Давай, любий! Зосередься, ти впораєшся!" Звичайно, може, і не всі генії розсіяні, але, безперечно, не зібрані. 

А як щодо дисперсії світу? Не знаю, що там у науці, однак простими словами — це коли трапляється настільки потужне заломлення земної атмосфери, що завдяки цьому десь паралельно виникають та розсіюються міріади нових всесвітів — неосяжних та, наче веселка, райдужно марних. 

Genius and rainbow

Who knows what dispersion means? Imagine that you were taking a test at school, feeling totally lost, and all you could do was stare around, hissing, "Hey, people, who knows what dispersion is?"

I just remember something like "bending" and "scattering." So, for me, this word is rather mysterious but has quite a pleasant sound. Hmm, light dispersion, acoustic dispersion—there are different ones, of course.

However, what about life's dispersion—when you give birth to a scatterbrained genius while bending in labor pains and whispering, "Come on, my love! Keep going! You'll handle it!" Certainly, not all geniuses are scattered, but they're definitely not gathered.

And what of the world's dispersion? I'm not sure how it works in science, but in simple words, this is when a very powerful bending of the Earth's atmosphere occurs, and thanks to this, somewhere in parallel, myriads of new universes arise and scatter—infinite and exquisitely useless, like rainbows.
